Blogger Michael Goldstein is a journalist who has covered technology, business and entertainment for the Los Angeles Times Magazine, New York Daily News, Presentations, Successful Meetings, PC LapTop, United Hemispheres, Southwest Spirit–and the National Enquirer.

Michael won first place for Feature/Commentary in the Los Angeles Press Club’s 49th Annual Southern California Journalism Awards on June 16, 2007.  The award was for his LA Times West story, “The Other Beating,” about George Holliday, the man who videotaped the Rodney King beating, and what’s become of him since his moment of fame.

Other notable stories by Michael include TV’s Dog Whisperer, here. ”License to Chill” on medical marijuana got a quite a bit of buzz.  This piece on college students stealing moonrocks from NASA won a feature writing award from the Los Angeles Press Club.
